WHERe SPRINGVILLE GROWS NEXT IS UP TO SPRINGVILLE

We're rewriting the plan that guides land use, roads, parks, housing, and public investment. It's the first full update since 2008. It gets written this year, and it gets written with you!

WHY WE ARE DEVELOPING THIS PLAN?

Springville has changed considerably since its comprehensive plan was adopted in 2008. As the community continues to grow, thoughtful planning is more important than ever to ensure growth strengthens, not diminishes, the qualities that make Springville a special place to live.

This planning process is an opportunity for residents, businesses, and community leaders to create a shared vision for Springville's future. The comprehensive plan will provide a roadmap for managing growth, protecting community character, and guiding public investments over the next 10 to 15 years.

WHAT WILL THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN ADDRESS?

  • Growth & Future Land Use: Where should Springville's next houses, shops, and jobs go?
  • Transportation & Mobility: Roads, traffic, sidewalks, trails, and the connections missing between them.
  • Housing & Neighborhoods: Preserving community character and planning for future housing needs.
  • Downtown & Economic Development: Supporting local businesses and enhancing downtown.
  • Parks & Green Systems: Protecting natural resources and expanding recreation opportunities.
  • Community Facilities & Services: Schools, fire and police, water and sewer, and the public spaces that hold the town together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first Springville Comprehensive Plan Public Meeting on October 6! We appreciate everyone who shared their ideas and priorities for Springville’s future.

More than 455 people have already participated in the Visioning Survey, and we want to hear from even more of the community. If you haven’t participated yet, take the survey and add your ideas to the interactive map before November 3, 2026.
